Multi-faith spaces

Your VP Equity & Inclusion gives an update on faith spaces at BCU

BCU's Seacole Building at City South Campus

An upate on where to find multi-faith spaces at BCU...

Your feedback expressed concern for BCU's Faith Spaces not being used effecitively. Your VP Welfare, Oluwadamilola, has taken action to ensure that the multi faith spaces are open to use for various faith groups.

BCUSU has previously met with BCU's Chaplain Team, Equality & Diversity (EDI) team and committee members of our Faith & Culture Societies to discuss concerns and agree on new provisions throughout the semester. Guidelines have been introduced for all BCU's multi faith spaces so students from various backgrounds can use the space equally. The guidelines will be on display in each of the multi faith spaces.

Where to find multi-faith spaces:

  • Curzon Building (C149) -  use Curzon B lifts or stairs to the first floor, and turn to your left. The room is situated on the right-hand side

  • Millennium Point/Parkside (MP326) -  Get to third floor of Millennium Point. You can access from Parkside by crossing the bridge on third/second floors

  • Seacole Building, City South (SCT151 and SCT146) -  Access on the first floor of the Seacole Building as you go through the corridor near the balcony area

A QR code will be displayed in multi-faith areas where you can provide your feedback our Multi-faith space working group will continue to listen to your feedback and make improvements where appropriate.
