We are looking for two new student trustees in their first or second year of study, to join the board at Birmingham City University Students’ Union. Trustees have independent control over, and legal responsibility for, a charity’s management and administration. You will utilise your experience as a BCU student, your personal and professional skills, experience, and knowledge to support and assist BCUSU in developing and delivering our Mission, Vision and Values.
We are looking for a Student Adviser to join our Advice and Information team. Student Advisers are responsible for the provision of high-quality advice and representation to our students. You will join us in delivering a welcoming, accessible advice service covering issues such as student funding, housing and academic issues. Our preferred candidate will have at least 1 year advice and advocacy experience and experience of conducting one to one interviews with clients.
The Activities and Representation Coordinator is responsible for developing, supporting and working with some of our most engaged students including society leaders and student representatives. You will be responsible for supporting societies to grow and develop as well as progressing the Student Representation System, ensuring student voice is at the heart of what we do.
