Student Finance England explain how to apply, how much you may be entitled to, how to re-pay your loan and offers help and guidance on what you need to do. Use the Student Finance Calculator for an estimate of what you might receive through your student loan.
If you’re an eligible full-time NHS student you can apply for:
a bursary from the NHS
a £1,000 grant from the NHS
a reduced Maintenance Loan from Student Finance England
Find out about the Learning Support Fund, NHS bursaries and social work bursaries and to eligible pre-registration students studying on healthcare, medical, dental or social work courses
If you are considering training to become a teacher there are a range of incentives and financial support available both whilst you train and after you qualify. You also may be eligible to a bursary or scholarship if your course leads to qualified teaching status. Find out more here.
