Financial Assistance Fund

The Advice Team is a professional service always here to help you resolve your problems.

The purpose of the University’s Financial Assistance Fund is to help students experiencing unexpected financial difficulties which is impacting on their success at the University.


Who can apply?

Most home and international students are eligible to apply. However, there is criteria you need to meet to receive an award. Full details of eligibility and criteria is here.


How to apply?

Essentially you need to complete an application form and provide evidence.


When to apply?

Ther Fund opens at the beginning of October. We recommend you apply early as the fund can run out. You should receive a decision in writing within four weeks.


Help applying

The Student Support Team can help you with your application.


Emergency assistance

If you experience a delay in your funding or find yourself in an emergency situation, you can apply to the Emergency Fund to tide you over.
