The Good Guide to Campaigning and Influencing (NCVO, 2011) defines campaigning as:
Organised actions around a specific issue seeking to bring about changes in the policy and behaviours of institutions and/or specific public groups…the mobilising of forces by organisations and individuals to influence others in order to effect an identified and desired social, economic, environmental or political change.'
How do I start a campaign?
If you have something that you want to change then you can either submit it as an idea to student Council by clicking here to go to the 'Your Ideas' page or you can speak to your Executive Officers to find out if it is something that BCUSU has already worked on or can help with.
What is BCUSU currently campaigning on?
You can find out more about what the Student Voice team are busy campaigning on by contacting them by phone or email.
