The Neurodiverse Society focuses on creating a friendly environment for neurodiverse people (ADHD, Autism, Dyspraxia, and Dyslexia), where we can share interests, support one another socially and personally, as well as tackle new experiences and possibilities together.
Come and chat with us on our Discord server: https://discord.com/invite/bG5cpzV8Qe
This is where most of our activity is and is the easiest way to make new friends with members of the society. If you don't already use Discord, it's worth signing up - plenty of BCUSU societies use it to communicate and announce events!
Our Society is a Liberation Society, which means we never close down, are free to join and are funded by your Students' Union for our events and activities.
This is because we represent a key demographic of Birmingham City University, and are recognised by the National Union of Students as part of their Liberation Campaign.
This society is holding an online by-election to fill the remaining vacant committee positions for the 2024-25 academic year. Any joined member can apply for a committee position that interests them and all joined members will also be able to vote for their preferred candidates.
