HELLO!
The Console Games Society (formerly the Fighting Games Society) is a place welcome to anyone of any skill level, be they casual newcomer or seasoned veteran.
We play a variety of console games, ranging from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to Tekken, Jackbox, Mario Party, Mario Kart, and many more! If there's any games you want to see, send us a message and we'll see what we can do!
Each week, we'll play a different game on the big screen, with other games being available on smaller monitors around the room. Check out our discord to see our schedule!
We also organise seasonal events and tournaments with cash prizes, as well as regular pizza nights!
So if any of this sounds appealing to you, feel free to come along to one of our taster sessions! We hope to see you there!
We meet in Curzon Building in C288 every FRIDAY from 18:00 to 20:00.
Our Committee
You can join the society at any time in the academic year, and all annual memberships will expire on 31st August.
This society is holding an online by-election to fill the remaining vacant committee positions for the 2024-25 academic year. Any joined member can apply for a committee position that interests them and all joined members will also be able to vote for their preferred candidates.
