BCU Gaming is for you if... 1. You have a passion for videogames and online gaming culture! 2. You have a particular fascination with Esports (new or old!) 3. You're a bit anxious with University at large, and want to cosy up to a group of gamers! 4. You want to participate in NSE, NUEL and other university Esports. 5. You want to meet your uni friends for life!
As leaders of BCU Gaming, we have pledged our time and resources to fulfill these four values:
We offer a space for our members to play games, in addition to our Discord server, a platform for members to socialise and play together! Whether you enjoy FPSs, MMOs, MOBAs or BRs, on console or not, we can guarantee you'll enjoy your time here! (Although a lot of us do play on PC!) These games can often be competitive by nature. However, don't let that stop you from joining! We appeal to all players across all levels of skill, casual or not!
Our membership is £3 for the academic year. This will grant you access to our member-only events and allow you to represent our University (in Esports) in a unified manner with the rest of your teammates!
BCU Gaming is the face and body of Esports here at our University, so regardless of what course(s) you're studying, if you have the skills to represent our uni and compete against others, or the passion to learn and develop these skills, then come along! We currently compete in NSE (National Student Esports) and NUEL (National University Esports League).
