Sign Language Society

About Us:

We are the BCU Sign Language Society, bringing sign language to university life and raising deaf-awareness in a kind and welcoming environment.

• It costs £3 to join this society
• You can also join www.british-sign.co.uk for £3, we will use this as a template to learn BSL (British Sign Language)
• We will have regular meetings at the City Centre Campus in the Loft at the Eagle & Ball 
• We will also have meetings at City South - details tbc
• We will have 3 fundraising events across the year
• We will have speakers to come talk about deaf issues to us
• There will be film nights, featuring films made by deaf people about the lives of deaf people
• We will form a community and contact with deaf groups in and around Birmingham and the UK
