What is a Student Voice Facilitator?

This position all about facilitating BCUSU's Governance meetings, including Scrutiny Group and Student Members Meeting. Your role will be important in ensuring our Officer Team is reviewed fairly and appropriately during Scrutiny Group, and that key information is communicated during our Student Members Meeting. 

In the role, you will build your leadership and public speaking skills, as well as your understanding of organisational governance.

What experience do you need?

No prior experience is required to apply for this position. However good knowledge of BCUSU, our campaigns, work and Officer Team will be useful.

Pay, hours and key dates

£13.35 per hour.

You'll be expected to committ to approximately 2 hours per month for Scrutiny Panel sessions, including an hour of training during early October (exact dates tbc) and monthly meetings in October, December, February and April. On top of that, our Student Members meeting will take place later in the year.
