We are looking for an Activities and Representation Coordinator to join our team, based at our City Centre & City South Campuses. The Activities and Representation Coordinator is responsible for developing, supporting and working with some of our most engaged students including society leaders and student representatives. You will be responsible for supporting societies to grow and develop as well as progressing The Student Representation System, ensuring student voice is at the heart of what we do.

The role, as part the Activities and Representation Team, will work in an agile way delivering projects to increase student participation and deliver consistent value to BCU students. Our preferred candidate will have experience of supporting or facilitating the work of students or volunteers, knowledge of devising and delivering training and excellent communication skills. You will need to be a team player, able to build relationships with our Society leaders and Student Representatives as well as being reliable and self-motivated.  BCUSU is a positive employer, with strong staff engagement, supportive working environment and enhanced employee benefits.

Principle purpose of job:

  • Delivery of agile managed projects to increase student participation in engagement activities
  • Develop Student Leadership, Activism, Student Group Development and Academic Representation    
  • Administration support in the delivery of projects
