Details

We are looking for a maternity cover for our Marketing Sales & Events Coordinator in our Marketing & Communications department, based in the City Centre Campus.

The role generates advertising revenue and organises engagement events that specifically appeal to our students, like our Welcome Fair during Welcome Week.  You will also provide administrative support to the Marketing & Communications Manager.  

Our preferred candidate will have proven sales or business development skills and experience in organising engaging events.  You will need to be able to work well under pressure and have excellent organisational, time management, communication skills, as well as being an outstanding team player!  This is a maternity cover contract, expected to be until April 2023, but is subject to change depending on the needs of the current postholder.

Principle purpose of job:

  • Responsible for generating new income streams for BCUSU
  • Building relationships with staff and students at all campuses and initiating campus specific activities
  • Provide administrative support to the Marketing & Communications Manager
