We've hosted socials for all self-identifying women to meet, make friends, and discuss the issues that matter to them. We've hosted anything from moodboarding sessions to a fundraiser for Refuge! Get in touch with us on social media to find out what we're up to next.
We are funded by your Students' Union to take the lead on Women's History Month, and work to institutionalise it at your Students' Union. Each year we develop a theme, and a series of events that matter to us, we've even got our own page at bcusu.com/women Get in touch with us to find out how to get involved.
Our Society is a Protected Society, which means we never close down, are free to join, and are completely funded by the Students' Union for our events and activities.
This is because we represent a key demographic of Birmingham City University, and are recognised by the National Union of Students as part of their Liberation Campaign.
As a member, you'll be included in the random sample to attend the Student Advisory Panel - voting on the ideas of students from across BCU.
If you've got a question the society can't answer, or are interested in starting your own Protected Society, get in touch with the Protected Society Coordinator.
