LGBTQ+ Society

Responsible for representing the LGBTQ+ community at BCU; ensuring we embedd the voices of LGBTQ+ students into Union and University goals and priorities. We provide a safe space to socialise/discuss issues that affect us on campus, and host campaigns to tackle these issues.

Our Top Goals

1. Transgender Awareness Week & Day of Rememberance: to lobby for better policy and awareness on misgendering, pronoun usage, and the issues facing Trans students.
2. LGBTQ+ History Month: to highlight the importance of LGBTQ+ individuals to British history.
3. Pride Month: to celebrate LGBTQ+ pride in our sexuality and history.
