The Roaries 2026: Tickets available, book now
The BCU Law, Debate and Mooting Society is a welcoming space for students to develop their legal skills, build confidence and connect with others who share a passion for law. Whether you are new to mooting or looking to sharpen your advocacy skills, we offer workshops, practice sessions, and the opportunity to compete in mooting and debate competitions.
Alongside advocacy training, we host guest panels, networking events and collaborate with other societies to promote legal awareness and career development. We also support pro bono and community-based initiatives to help students engage with the law beyond their studies.
We are proud to announce that we are being sponsored by The University of Law this academic year 2025/2026!
Open to all BCU students, our society is here to support you every step of the way. Post-graduate students are welcome to join and participate as well!
We're more than just a society; we're your legal journey in motion.
This society is holding online elections to choose their committee for the new academic year 2026/27. Any paid member can apply for a committee position that interests them and all paid members will also be able to vote for their preferred candidates when polling opens.
