Our Main Aim

Are you interested in the legal world and looking to become part of your legal community? If so, we are the right society for you. The Law Society is run for the benefit of our members with the distinct aim of providing great opportunities to create contacts and to enhance your skills through networking events and law related trips. However, the society is not driven solely by academia; we also hold social events throughout the year in order to engage with all students and most of all, have some fun! We are passionate about being active and sociable students and so as a member of the Law Society, you will have the chance to be a part of a well-respected and dynamic society.

This society is aimed at all the students in all course, to all years, part time and full time, international as well as local! In fact it is aimed at anyone who wants to develop skills, contacts or just has an interest in law. It is NOT just for those aspiring to be a barrister or solicitor. The legal world is so diverse in what you can do; plus it affects all of us. So why not know as much about it as you can?

We will have many events so we really hope you join us to attend them. This is YOUR society, so PLEASE GIVE US IDEAS FOR EVENTS, and we will try to make them happen if possible.

Contact us by e-mail, Twitter or Facebook. We love hearing from you!
