The society will focus on improving the members' employability in the Computing Industry through a variety of activities. We will have demos, talks, work on some projects together, teach and learn from each other, have some professionals come in as well later on in the year.
Our main focus will be programming and getting people ready for Hackathons. The society is aimed to be a friendly and fun environment, where we all feel comfortable sharing our creations, solving problems together and working on projects together. This isn't a replacement for uni and we won't be doing your uni work (although we can always discuss any difficulties you are having).
If you would like to help run the society for the next academic year, you can put yourself forward as a candidate during the Nominations Period.
When the polls open, all members will be able to vote for their preferred candidates.
If you are successfully elected onto the committee then you will be invited along to our TeamBCU Training event on Weds 15th May.
5 posts are up for election.
