This is the official page for the Commuter Society at Birmingham City University. Protected by the Student Union, we are a community for students who commute to university rather than living in accomodation. This gives commuting students a safe space, and the chance to feel they are getting involved with the social life at Birmingham City whilst living outside of student halls or private student accomodation.
If you wish to get involved, you can sign up by logging in to the website, or email societies@bcu.ac.uk for more information.
Our Society is a Protected Society, which means we never close down, are free to join and are funded by your Students' Union for our events and activities.
This is because we represent a key demographic of Birmingham City University, and are recognised by the National Union of Students as part of their Liberation Campaign.
