About Burlesque

Who We Are

BCU Burlesque is a society that aims to enrich your life through the art of Burlesque dancing.

Burlesque is a form of dance which encourages self-love, body confidence and loving the skin you’re in. It ranges from classic strip tease, character performances and comedy to any form you would personally like to explore.

We welcome all to come and join in, whether you’re a beginner or seasoned performer, our classes are for everyone and anyone looking to try something new and give Burlesque a go!

Burlesque Committee Elections 2026/27

This society is holding online elections to choose their committee for the new academic year 2026/27. Any paid member can apply for a committee position that interests them and all paid members will also be able to vote for their preferred candidates when polling opens.
