Why are we here, and what do we do?

  • We are here to provide a social and educational environment outside of university lectures and to create a sense of belonging to a group due to the time that we spend apart when out on practical placement.
  • We aim help to encourage self-directed learning and CPD to all students
  • We aim to provide an awareness of the role of a Student Paramedic to Schools and Colleges within the Midlands area
  • We aim to raise awareness of the importance of early CPR and Defibrillation in the event of sudden cardiac arrest
  • We aim to work collaboratively with other inter-professional departments to create a widening of our learning experiences.
