The BCU Masonic Society is an all inclusive and non discriminatory Society open to membership by anyone with an interest in Freemasonry; it's aims, symbols, history and traditions.
It exists to inform and promote an understanding of the aims and guiding principles of Freemasonry, charitable relief, a fuller understanding of ones self and all fellow individuals along with their involvement in Society in general.
The Society has links to local Freemason Lodges to further develop members Masonic knowledge, however the Society is not a traditional Masonic Lodge holding meetings.
Our goals are to:
To promote the masonic ideals of friendship, charity and integrity.
To provide an environment to develop friendships.
To enable academic research into the history of freemasonry and related organisations.
Events will include visiting masonic speakers from men's and women's masonic lodges, tours to masonic buildings both local and further afield, together with invitations to social events in collaboration with masonic lodges. A chance ask all those questions and find out what Freemasonry is all about.
