With over 50% of BCU students commuting from the West Midlands region, a key factor in giving you access to your education is using local transport networks. During the cost of living crisis we’re aware that some of you may not be able to afford to get onto campus for your lectures.
We’ve been invited by UCB’s Guild of Students to join their transport campaign, where we’re asking West Midlands Mayor Andy Street to give students 6 months free public transport across the region.
We've already met with the West Midlands Combined Authority who have informed us that the request will be discussed at a meeting on 13 March.
