Rep of the Month

✨Congratulations to our Reps of the Month for November✨

Our Reps are vital to ensuring students' voices are heard and acted on; they gather feedback from students on their course and work with University staff, and BCUSU, to make improvements and resolve course issues.

Your Vice President Student Voice, Kristina Patel, has selected two Reps to spotlight this month:

Katy Goodwin - Lead Rep (Computer Science)

"Katy has been an amazing Lead Rep this month. She’s always welcoming, supportive, and makes sure everyone feels included. She’s very organised — setting up meetings and keeping us all updated. When I wasn’t sure how to use Discord, I messaged her for help, and she guided me through it, even though it was late at night. Her kindness, patience, and dedication really stand out."

Mifzal Kokab - Course Rep (LLB Law)

"Mifzal has put an incredible amount of effort in, despite only being first year. Mifzal has made an active effort to interact with students on his course despite only just starting alongside interacting with Reps from other years. Mifzal has also thoroughly involved himself with campus life, holding positions with both BCU Law Society and BCU Islamic Society. He went out of his way to format and prepare feedback into documents to make it easier for his Lead Rep to see.

"They deserve to be Rep of the Month because they have gone above and beyond to support their classmates and represent student voices. They actively gathered feedback, communicated concerns to staff, and helped create positive changes. They are always approachable, ready to listen, and willing to help others with any issues or questions. Their dedication, teamwork, and commitment to improving the overall student experience make them an outstanding representative this month"
