BCUSU is looking for a proactive and organised Project Assistant to join our team and play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of projects that enhance the student experience.
This position is ideal for a student who is passionate about student engagement, has strong communication skills, and can provide reliable support across a variety of projects.
As a Project Assistant, you will contribute to the planning, monitoring, and evaluating BCUSU projects, ensuring that activities are delivered effectively and meet their outcomes. You will also assist in the delivery of projects through clear communication and collaboration with a variety of teams, helping to maintain positive and productive working relationships.
You will provide administrative support for the Project Management function, ensuring accurate records are kept and processes run smoothly. Acting as a reliable point of support within the team, you will help maintain high standards of organisation and accountability, enabling BCUSU projects to deliver meaningful impact for students.
Key responsibilities:
- Help prepare documents, reports, agendas, and presentations.
- Coordinate project events and collaborate with relevant departments
- Track tasks, timelines, and project milestones as directed by the Project Manager
- Act as a point of contact for project-related queries

Hours
Part-time and hours per week will vary but will be no more than 20 hours per week during term time.
Salary
£12.60 per hour
