• Nominations open - Monday 7th April at 9am
• Nominations close - Monday 21st April at 9am
• Voting opens - Tuesday 22nd April at 9am
• Voting closes - Monday 5th May at 9am

What do I need to do?

Committee members

• If you want to continue to be on your Society committee, you need to nominate yourself. You do not automatically get to continue in your role

• You should inform all your members about the election, and speak to them about the committee roles available - chat to them about what each role does and encourage them to nominate themselves

Society members

• If you're interested in running a society, have a look at the positions available

• Nominate yourself before 9am on Monday 21st April 

• Not interested? Make sure you vote for the members you want for each committee position

Non-society members

• You must be a society member to run for a committee position, make sure you join a society and nominate yourself before 9am on Monday 21st April

How do I stand for election?

• Log into bcusu.com website and go to your Society page.
• Click on the Elections tab, this will only be visible for active members
• Go through the steps to nominate yourself 
• Upload a photo of yourself
• Add a manifesto (your manifesto should tell students about you and why you would be good at the position you're running for, include your experiences and accomplishments
