The BCU WCN originated from Dr Alice Storey’s research study on working-class staff and students at BCU and the M4C Dialogue Day Alice co-led for working-class PhD students in September 2024. You can read more about these activities here

We invite you to come along to one of our two informal 30-minute launch events in February, designed to provide an overview of the Network and ideas for the future of the BCU WCN. These events will take place on MS Teams on Weds 5th February 1pm-1.30pm and Friday 21st February 2pm-2.30pm.

The Network is open for membership to all working-class staff and students at BCU.
