A Vote for Me is a Vote for You

My Goals:

  • I would like to help young people’s voices to be heard and their needs to be better met. Introduce Youth Mentorship whereby older youth can mentor younger ones those who may face a problem of any kind.

  • Introduce sports activities regularly, help with organizing event, E-sports, bring all the communities together for cultural events.

  • I’m passionate about bringing the community together and increase funding for vital services that young people rely on. Today’s youth face new challenges such as mental health, and chronic levels of loneliness; particularly during this pandemic.

  • Have a Human Rights Day, gender right day, and various other social and societal issues to raise awareness.

  • You can’t have academic success without good physical and mental health. The university has a responsibility to provide an affordable Sports Centre and The Students’ Union activities to all its students. I will prioritize this by fighting for more funding to be allocated to this area.

  • I've spoken to many young people who are motivated by various unique talents and have the potential to achieve greatness in our society but have no opportunity to showcase them to the larger community. We can work together to develop better policies that will transform the lives of students and change our beloved BCU for the better by increasing the representation of young people.

  • You matter and so does your mental health. I’ll make sure its easier for each and everyone to be open and discuss any problem that you’re going through which is affecting you mentally and emotionally and impacting how you function normally in your academia.

  • I am incredibly passionate about helping others, being a voice for them and gaining insight in what it is practically like to run a constituency as this is the career future I am striving for. I would deeply appreciate the opportunity to do so by becoming your VP Opportunities and Community.
  • To ensure there are more activities for youth across the campus: I will make sure that there are more activities and events occurring on a regular basis, so that no one feels left out and advertise these via BCUSU websites and newsletters, so young people are aware of what’s going on around the University.

My Experience:

I was the Sports Head in my School Students Council for two years. I was involved in organizing various events within the school and hosting inter-school events. The interest of the students was always the priority. During my Undergraduate, I was involved in various sports, academic and cultural activities.

I have experience in organizing and volunteering for International events such as Breast Cancer awareness month, Dubai International Humanitarian Aid & Development Conference, Dubai marathon, Special World Olympics Abu Dhabi 2019, International Family Medicine, Innovation Arabia Conference, Dubai International Pharmaceuticals & Technologies Conference & Exhibition and many more.

Why you should vote for me?

  • With my diverse background, interests, and the fact that I lived and attended multinational school and universities in Dubai where more than 200 nationalities live. I have the mindset of Student serving Student and help them in every possible way.

  • I would like to help students and talk on behalf of the student community and raise their voices to the BCUSU staff on all matters related to Societies, Volunteering & Sport.

  • The hardships and struggles of the youth shouldn’t go unnoticed or ignored, which is why I am standing in this election as a strong and productive candidate to highlight the views of my peers. As a student of the BCU, I have the desire to give something back to the community. I believe that I am right for this role as I have the leadership, communication, and organizational skills to effectively carry out the position.

  • This is a small
