SARABJEET SINGH

Everyone can be great because everyone can serve.

I'm Sarabjeet Singh, here to support this cause and this position so that you can have great opportunities and a supportive community during your time as a student.

I don't know if you know me, but I started my journey as an introverted international student, as I got the opportunities I grabbed them, in a positive community who appreciated and motivated me. First, I got the opportunity to join the Sikh Society’s social media coordinator for 2 years, after that, I got elected as president of the Punjabi Soc, where my role was to encourage fellow students to respect every culture/religion and encourage them and on the other side, the same time I was Treasurer for Indian Society where I managed all the fundings, I was an International official buddy, and I was captain for our team where my skill as a leadership increased. Moreover, I've collaborated with BCUSU and a few other university Societies to put on enjoyable events for students such as the cricket event being organised, representing Sikh Soc at Singhs Football Camp, etc. Since everyone deserves to enjoy their time in university, I would love to be in a position where I can increase opportunities in a positive community to make your university life more enjoyable.

I'd relish offering something to the student community so that they can facilely become involved in a positive environment. I'd like to distribute three 'Wills' that I ascertain is up to date
    •    Will ascertain that room booking will not be a headache and will endeavour to make it more transparent.
    •    Will ensure that every society receives training, regardless of when the society was formed.
    •    Will work collaboratively with every BCUSU society, career plus and the graduate plus and generate more opportunities.

It is my responsibility to make sure the societies reach their full potential through joint events with the support of the Student's Union. Thank you for reading my manifesto and feel free to get in touch with me if you have any suggestions or questions. You can contact me at @Sarab_jeet24.
