February is LGBT+ History Month – an annual month long observance which celebrates the visibility, lives, experiences and achievements of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people throughout history.

At BCUSU we’re proud of our diverse community which supports students of any sexual orientation or gender identity, you can use this page to find out how to get involved with the LGBT+ community at BCU and in Birmingham!

"February is LGBTQ+ History Month, a time to highlight LGBTQ+ people in all our communities. This year’s theme: Science and innovation, allows us to acknowledge the contributions of LGBT+ people historically and today.

"Join our on campus events throughout the month such as our weekly film screenings. Check out bcusu.com to see what’s happening.

"Did you know all our Liberation Societies are free to join? If you’re looking for community at BCU, join BCUSU LGBTQ+ Society, they meet regularly and are free to join. Give them a follow on Instagram to see when you can get involved: @bcusu_lgbtq"
