Getting to know the Representation System

The Representation System is made up of loads of Reps, but who are they?

Course Reps

Our most common type of Rep!
We have at least one Course Rep for every year of each Course here at BCU.
They volunteer their time to speak to students on their Course and raise issues with their Course Leader or Lead Rep to work on resolutions.

Lead Reps

We have one Lead Rep for each Department who work with Course Reps to make sure student feedback is raised with the people who can fix it.
Lead Reps regularly meet with the Course Reps in their Department to see how they're getting on and look for common themes across feedback they've collected.

You can find out who the Lead Reps are here!

Lead Reps are paid and recruited by the Students' Union - if you're interested in becoming one you can learn more here!

PGR Reps

Our PGR Reps are here to represent Postgraduate Research students (student's studing PhD's or other Doctoral courses).
We have one PGR Rep for every area of research, and they work to collect feedback from their peers and raise it with the Doctoral Research College.
