✦ Your first step should be speaking to your Lead Rep. If you don't know who they are, you can find their contact info here.

✦ You are always welcome to speak to your VP Student Voice. You can get in touch with them via email at union.voice@bcu.ac.uk or you can book some time with them by using the Officer's booking portal.

✦ If you want to speak to someone in person, or need to collect your lanyard or hoodie, just pop to the SU Reception at Curzon (on the 1st floor) or Seacole (on the Ground floor, next to the Campus Shop).

✦ If you're still having trouble, chat to the Representation Team by emailling activitiesandrepresentation@bcu.ac.uk.

✦ Your Student Support Centre is your one-stop-shop for all student support and guidance; from starting out, all the way through to assessments and beyond.

  • City Centre - 0121 202 4804 - Curzon Building, Level 1, C142 (Curzon B)
  • City South - 0121 331 7105 - Seacole Building, Level 0, SCT002
  • You can also submit an enquiry via the online portal.

✦ If the problem is about bullying, harassment, or you're concerned for another student's wellbeing you should make a report on Report and Support. If you're not sure how to complete a report, please speak to any member of BCU or BCUSU staff and they should be able to assist you.

✦ If a student needs help with Extenuating Cirucmstances, housing, or money troubles; the student can get support from our Advice Team by submitting an Advice enquiry

✦ If it's about something general that student's want to see introduced or changed, like increasing the number of microwaves on campus or extending Library opening hours, you could submit an Idea on the Ideas Board.

✦ You can also raise issues like this during a Rep Council where you'll be able to discuss it with other Reps and come up with a collective solution. Find out when the next Rep Council is here.
