    A Student Games Area/Common room

    Rejected
A room where students and faculty can relax and wind down during the busy day, this room can consist of TV's to watch sports/entertainment or games such as pool or arcade games. This will be a way to unite students from different courses to be able to enjoy each others company. With this idea I propose for it to be either Curzon or Parkside, but I lean towards Curzon as I believe its busier and there are more students on this side. Now with Curzon there is a common room on the first floor but it's incredibly small and it's just a couple sofas, with 2 microwaves and a single foosball table and I don't think it's ideal and you can tell as the room empty on the regular basis. I propose we find a bigger area to allow more student to come in following covid restrictions. Compared to Aston where it has its own building where students can wind down and enjoy their time at the university when they're not stressed about lectures, assignments and exams. I want to work with the university so we can build that safe zone for the university students and faculty and not just a cramped single room.

Your idea then goes live, here on the Ideas Board for other students to vote and comment.

    It will be live until:
