An academic engineering society focused on developing knowledge and practical capability in aerospace systems. We introduce students to the core principles behind rocketry, aerodynamics, propulsion, control systems, and lightweight structures through structured workshops and guided projects.
Members progress from foundational skills CAD, engineering maths, electronics, and materials, to applied activities such as small-scale rockets, UAV systems, drones, RC planes. Sessions emphasise safe laboratory practice, problem-solving, and engineering reasoning.
The society aims to support students’ academic development, broaden their technical experience beyond the curriculum, and create pathways into aerospace-related research, competitions, and career opportunities.
