Your Students’ Union is proud to report that in the recent National Student Survey (NSS) completed by final year students in 2016/17, 62% of all students surveyed believe that BCUSU effectively represents their academic interests.

Whilst you may not think that 62% is good, the national average for students’ unions was just 57% and we achieved the highest score from any students’ union within the Birmingham area.

BCUSU represents all of our students’ academic interests in a number of different ways; from training Student Academic Leaders and School Reps to bring to the attention of University staff any issues you may have with your course or school, to our Advice team who offer professional, free, impartial advice and representation, should you need it about academic matters, or even your elected student officers who represent you at high level university meetings and committees: we’re always there when you need us most.

However, the National Student Survey doesn’t ask students about the other great services and facilities BCUSU offers. To find out more about what we do, please visit www.bcusu.com. If you’d like to submit an idea which you think will improve your student experience at BCU, please click here.  To find out how BCUSU will be staying on top in Birmingham, find out about our Strategic Plan for the next 3 years, here.
