Your Students' Union have worked with BCU Disability Team and IT to improve accessibility when loaning laptops...

Lapsafe lockers, which contain laptops for students to loan across campuses, now have a new accessibility feature for students who are unable to reach higher lockers at stations.

To use this feature, select the wheelchair icon in the top right of the touchscreen before entering your library pin. This will ensure the safe allocates you a laptop in a bay that is easily accessible. If there are no laptops available in the accessible bays, or you are unable to use a touchscreen, please speak to a member of staff for assistance loaning a laptop.

Changes like these are made possible with your feedback, if there are things around the university you think should be improved, let us know by submitting your feedback through our Ideas Board.
