We are looking for the new Chief Executive to drive the future direction of the SU, challenging the University and status quo. We want to be the voice of our students, taking purposeful, impactful and action orientated decisions that enable us to drive change and do things differently.

The Chief Executive will lead through cultural change to drive the SU and achieve our vision to go from good to great. The post holder will challenge the status quo and drive change through a clear strategy, designed to make the organisation financially viable whilst serving the students’ needs. Stakeholder management is critical to the success of the role, and working closely with the University, Trustees and Directors will all contribute to the success of the students’ union.

We are looking for an individual who has operated at a senior leadership level with passion and enthusiasm to challenge and drive progression. You will possess high levels of commercial and financial acumen. You will be an exceptional communicator, with a proven track record working with a myriad of complex stakeholders.  We are looking for candidates both within the SU movement and outside as we want fresh perspectives and a person who will change the way SU’s are viewed both within BCU and beyond.
