BCUSU is run by a team of core staff and five Officers who are elected by you and dedicated to improving your academic experience, to give you a sense of belonging, and prepare you with key employability skills. Every year we host a meeting for you to make your voice count and understand how the organisation is run.

Why should I attend? 

• If you don't think we're doing enough to ensure we uphold our vision and values, this is your chance to tell us.

• You'll hear a report from your Officer Team and see what they've been working on through the year so far.

• Find out how BCUSU is run, information about budgets, how our outlets are performing, about our strategic plan and how we've tackled issues related to students.

• You can ask questions to the organisations' Trustee's and managers. 

• Your Students' Union works for you, your accountability ensures we can make real change!
   

How does the meeting work? 

15:00 - 16:00

• Business updates (from BCUSU management team) - what we did for students last academic year

• Budget updates and what we spent last financial year
   

16:15 - 18:00

• Officer Team updates - what have your elected Officers been working on for all BCU students this academic year?

• Trustee panel - your chance to ask questions of our External, Student and Officer Trustees

• Prize draws (1 x £250, 3 x £100, 5 x £50, 10 x £20 vouchers of your choice
