An intro to the LGBT+ community at BCU...

Whether you identify as LGBTQ+ or not, pop along to learn more. Everyone is welcome!

Here's a look at who will be there: 

  • The Nightingale Club - a club in the city's Gay Village, bringing a candy floss machine and your chance to win 4 Pride tickets!
  • Boot Women - a walking group for women, primarily lesbians, based in Birmingham and surrounding areas
  • Ginger Dan - local street artist bringing together members of the queer art community 
  • BCU Sport - sports teams at BCU are inclusive for all, find out which competitive teams you can join
  • BCU Library - have your say in new LGBTQ+ literature to add to the library
  • LGBTQ+ Society - meet and greet with the protected society
  • BCUSU - grab some freebies and chat to the Officers
  • BCU Student Success Advisor, Mark Coulstock will be in the BCUSU Office, pop in for a chat, free hot drinks and biscuits

There is also a chance to see Roary's legendary dance moves, partnered with some of the best Queer anthems.
