At the moment, it seems like lots of things have either been put on hold or cancelled all together! One thing that’s still taking place this Sunday is Mother’s Day!
We’re sure that many of you will have been super organised and bought your Mum/Mom/Mother/Person who’s like a Mom to you, a card long before any of us even realised the phrase ‘self-isolation’ existed. For those of you who haven’t, don’t worry as your Students’ Union has got your back!
We’ve found where you can choose and send a Mother’s Day e-card, FREE OF CHARGE! All you have to do is enter your details to sign up (there’s definitely nothing to pay), choose a design (you can even upload a photo), and decide what you want to write in the card.
Open Me: Create eCards for Facebook and Email
Alternatively, Becky, our lovely Graphic Designer, has come up with our own design if you didn’t want to sign up to anything. You can download that ecard here.
Alternative ideas if you didn’t want to send an e-card is to write your Mom/person who’s like a Mom to you, a letter. Everyone loves to hear exactly what makes them special to you!
Also, if you’re not spending Mother’s Day with your Mom this year, either because of Coronavirus or your Mom just isn’t around, please know that BCUSU are sending you an extra big virtual hug!
P.S. For those of you not originally from Birmingham, Mom is the same as Mum
