Who are we?

Polygon started life as the student magazine for Birmingham Polytechnic in the late 80s. When we were granted University status, the magazine was rebranded as Spaghetti Junction and then The Scratch.

As we move into a new era for BCU, Polygon is back - the student-led blog and magazine, seen by thousands of students from all BCU campuses as well as the wider community around the region. Whether you like technology or music, or an interest in health or sport, Polygon has something for everyone.

If you've got something to contribute, you can get involved in writing, designing, proof-reading and promotion. Find out how, below!

Membership Fee: £6

You can join the society at any time in the academic year, and all annual memberships will expire on 31st August.

Interest List

If you join our Interest List, you will receive the same email updates that our members do until mid-February. After this time you will need to pay for your membership to continue hearing about our events and being able to take part in our activities.
