Our Aim

We Are Here To Help

Our main goal is helping Italian students (especially first year and Erasmus ones) to understand the dynamics of a university student’s life in BCU and the city of Birmingham; giving them tips and advice, as well as helping them with the English language.

Promote and Share the Italian Culture

We welcome everyone, with no dinstinctions, that is interested in the Italian culture. We would like to spread the Italin culture within Birmingham City University, through collaborations with local businesses, hosting events and collaborating with other Italian societies in the UK.

Italian Restaurants Deals and Discounts

We are working with several Italian restaurants to get deals and discounts for the Italian society memebers. Email us to know the amazing deals Rosteria Rodizio Rico (The Cube) is offering to the BCU Italian Society!

Membership Fee: £3

You can join the society at any time in the academic year, and all annual memberships will expire on 31st August.

Give It A Go: Each BCU student is able to attend two events as a non-member to trial the society before becoming a member. After these two sessions you must pay the annual membership fee. If you join the Interest List you will be emailed by the committee about their Give It A Go events once they are planned.
