Our Main Aim

Hello all! We are starting up new society this year open to film buff's and casual film watchers alike. We aim to create a space for people to engage with film in a more critical capacity and expand our knowledge of film to be more inclusive of various types of cinema. 

We will be showcasing a variety of :

- LGBTQ+ film

- Women in the industry

- Foreign films

- Landmarks in Hollywood 

- Independent films, low budget films

- Animated Films

 -Fun/trashy films 

Come have fun with us, we will likely have snacks.

Film Society Committee Elections 2019/20

If you would like to help run the society for the next academic year, you can put yourself forward as a candidate during the Nominations Period. When the polls open, all members will be able to vote for their preferred candidates. If you are successfully elected onto the committee then you will be invited along to our Team BCU Training event on Wednesday 15th May.
