The BCU Tigers are a competitive pom dance team placing 1st at Future Cheer university nationals in 2017 and 1st at Future Cheer for our Jazz team.

If competing isn't for you however there are plenty of opportunities to take part in numerous performance opportunities or to be a part of our spirit teams for Wednesday games where we improve our crowd appeal and showcase our skills. The BCU Tigers have had many performance opportunities such as our annual fundraiser event, Varsity, the Baseline basketball tournament and BCU's Sport Science Launch which was featured on TV alongside sport celebrities with a audience approximate of 15,000 people.

As well as meeting for training, we also organise socials throughout the year to provide the opportunity for our members to socialise and build strong friendships within our society. These socials include meals and DVD nights together, as well as themed nights out which may involve other teams and societies. One highlight is our under the sea boat party!

Whether you want to compete, showcase new cheer and dance skills at events or simply find a new and unique way to keep fit, the BCU Tigers welcome everyone of all abilities to join and we look forward to seeing lots of new faces this year!

Being at university is not just about working hard and getting your degree, but also about being a part of the university, come and be a part of the family!

Just bring yourself, appropriate footwear (trainers, pumps or jazz shoes are fine), a bottle of water and comfortable clothing.

Cheerleading is £15 to join, and you must have a Non-BUCS Sports Card (£30) to join. If you don't already have a Non-BUCS Sports Card you will be able to add this to your basket when you checkout.
