About the Skating Society

 

The Skating is the place for you if:

  1. You have a passion for skateboarding or roller-skating
  2. You enjoy meeting new people
  3. You want to visit different skate-parks
  4. You’re a bit anxious with university at large, and want to cosy up to a small skte crew
  5. Are interested in regular meetups
  6. You want to make some friends for life

 

Our focus

As leaders of the Skating Society, we dedicate our time and resources to uphold these four values:

  • Making a friendly place for casual and competitive skaters alike.
  • Making sure that everybody feels comfortable in our society with a no harassment tolerance policy
  • Offering our members the most we possibly can to make sure their membership and support do not go unnoticed.

We also have our dedicated whatsapp groupchat  for our society: a platform for members to socialise and play together! Our groupchat is also the main base of operations, here we will organise and discuss events whether it be online or in person.
