Mooting 101 is an interactive introduction to the art of advocacy, designed to give students a practical insight into what it means to argue a legal case before a court.
The session will introduce the fundamentals of mooting, legal argument and courtroom advocacy, including how to structure submissions, apply legal authorities, respond to questions from the bench and present an argument with confidence.
Students will have the opportunity to put these skills into practice through interactive exercises and gain an understanding of the mooting opportunities available through the BCU Law & Debating Society.
Whether you have never mooted before or want to strengthen your advocacy skills, this session is the perfect place to start.
No previous mooting experience is required. FREE for ALL to attend!
