Join the BCU Law & Debating Society for our Law 101 Taster Session, an interactive introduction to everything our society has to offer. Whether you’re studying Law, thinking about a career in the legal profession, or simply want to meet new people and try something different, this session is designed for you.
Get involved in mini moots and debates, test your advocacy skills, see what it’s like to argue a case, and experience some of the activities we run throughout the year. You’ll also have the chance to meet other students, connect with members of the committee, and discover our social events, competitions, workshops, networking opportunities and career-focused activities.
And of course, there’ll be FREEBIES, light refreshments and plenty of opportunities to chat and get involved!

No experience is required. You don’t need to know how to moot, debate or argue a case. Just bring yourself, your curiosity, and give it a go!
