Your Students' Union

Have your say on Student Safety! (People of Colour)

Date Wed 26 May 2021 10:00-11:00
Location Microsoft Teams
Join your President for a focus group about student safety.

We can raise your feedback and experiences at meetings with the University and our West Midlands PSCO (Police Community Support Officer). The information you give us can help us to ensure safety on campus is improved and it will contribute to a better student experience for all of our students.

Your Students' Union wants to hear how you feel about student safety as a Person of Colour. The focus group will aim to capture the way your ethnicity and identity impacts on your student safety. Whether that be on campus, or across Birmingham your opinion and experiences will help us bring about the real change needed to ensure you, a BCU student, can feel safer, be safer and enjoy the student experience you deserve.

For the wellbeing of all, this focus group is a closed group for those who identify with the protected characteristic stated. If you do not identify with this protected characteristic but wish to take part, please come along to one of the other focus groups, found on our What's On page.

To sign up for this event, please "buy" a (free) ticket on the left hand side. This then puts a ticket in your basket, which you can find at the top of the page. Proceed to checkout in the basket to confirm your place. You will then be given a link for the session on Microsoft Teams, and we may be in touch beforehand with more details.
