Supporting Students of Colour’s Mental Health

Workshop hosted by Minds of People of Colour, Oge Obioha and Sana Ali
Monday 19 October 2020 5pm - 7pm Microsoft Teams

This session explores terms around decolonisation, the severity of racism on the mental health of students of colour and the existence of racial trauma. There is also consideration of the importance of cultural competency and decolonised support, that provides reps and allies with practical steps that can be taken to enact meaningful and trans-formative change.
