BCU Gaming x Big Welcome 2025

Wednesday 17 September 2025 10am - 3:30pm C010 (The HIve), Curzon Building

BCU Gaming X Curzon Hive for the biggest event of the year: Big Welcome 2025 hosted by BCUSU

With games and music, join us to celebrate the beginning (or continuation) of your journey at BCU with the 2024/5 BCUSU Society of the Year!

If you're unsure where The Hive is, see the floorplan below!

Just some of the games we have planned:

  • Mario Kart World
  • Smash Bros
  • Tekken
  • Wii Sports
  • Assetto Corsa with Fanatec Direct Drive Wheel

You are more than welcome to bring your own controllers for use on the consoles, but we will have enough for the player count of each game.

A little health and safety PSA:

  • CCTV will be in operation in the room.
  • Professional photography will be taking place during the event.
  • The BCU Gaming Committee and BCUSU Security will be ensuring the event stays a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all.
  • A photosensitive epilepsy warning is in effect for this event - strobes will not be used.

If you have any questions, Please join our Discord server and @ one of the committee! Please also follow our Instagram and X accounts to stay up to date!
