Rise UP mentorship Programme

**RiseUp Professional Mentorship Program** addresses the gap in personalized mentorship at universities, offering students unique 1:1 guidance from seasoned professionals. This initiative targets diverse fields such as fashion, architecture, cybersecurity, health, business, and project management, focusing on areas where students often struggle to find proper guidance. By connecting students with mentors, the program aims to foster career development and equip students with essential tools for success.

The program features experienced speakers, including alumni who have secured sponsored jobs, professionals with UK job market expertise, successful internship-to-job converters, and recruiters offering insights into hiring processes. Each 45-60 minute session is designed to be interactive and insightful, covering topics like professional journeys, CV preparation, interview techniques, and networking strategies. Special emphasis is placed on leveraging LinkedIn and personal branding for career advancement.

The agenda includes practical advice on job searches, sponsorship opportunities, and internship conversions, alongside strategies for navigating the competitive UK job market. Students will also learn the importance of joining societies like Enactus BCU for career growth and networking.

RiseUp is more than mentorship; it is a platform for empowering students to achieve their career goals through actionable insights and practical tools delivered by professionals with real-world experience.
